The Belle Harbour Club is thrilled to host the 9th Annual Belleville Dragon Boat Festival on behalf of the Belleville Waterfront & Ethnic Festival Committee.
This year’s event will feature local athletes and reigning Canadian National Champions (50+ age category); the Belle Harbour Heat who will be competing at the 2008 World Championships in Penang, Malaysia as well as medal winning junior athletes from the 2007 World Championships in Sydney, Australia. This has the makings of a battle of the ages!
Participating crews will receive a Dragon Boat Orientation hosted by the Belle Harbour Dragon Boat Club in June. On-water practice sessions will be held two weeks prior to the event.
