Alkame Paddle Zone proudly presents the Ontario University Indoor Championships, hosted at the University of Toronto, Scarborough Campus.
Description:
This event will feature university teams and individuals racing on a KayakPro D1 Ergometre for the fastest times possible. Racers will be projected onto a large screen to show their progress and placement throughout the races. Race results will also be projected immediately following each race.
The event is fast-paced, exciting and provides a great opportunity for rookies and advanced university paddlers alike to show their skills and gain new ones.

Location: University of Toronto, Scarborough Campus, Highland Hall Event Centre
1265 Military Trail, Scarborough, M1C 1A4.
Highland Hall is located on the main floor.

Cost: $40.00 for Students, $25.00 for UofT Scarborough Students, $25.00 for Out of Province Students
Race Details:
Registration is done on an individual basis
Each athlete will participate in 1 preliminary heat and 1 championship final
Team races will consist of 4 racers (2 male and 2 female) racing together and generating a cumulative time
Racing Classes will include:
- Competitive Women (130lbs+)
- Competitive Lightweight Women (Under 130lbs)
- Rookie Lightweight Women (under 130lbs)
- Rookie Women (130lbs+)
- Competitive Men (170lbs+)
- Competitive Lightweight Men (Under 170lbs)
- Rookie Men (170lbs+)
- Rookie Lightweight Men (under 170lbs)
- Team Relay Race
