From Toronto, take Hwy 401 W towards Mississauga.
Take Hwy 427 S to the QEW.
Continue on the QEW/Hwy 403.
Take exit 74 to Hwy 6 N.
Make a left on Hwy 5 West.
Make a left at 1000 Hwy 5 West.
Parking is $14/car. We include and will send 6 parking passes to each team registered and paid by August 1st, 2019.
Mixed Division - $750.00 +HST
Women’s Division - $750.00 +HST
BCS Division - $750.00 +HST
University/Youth Division - $750.00 +HST
Donations: The Christie Lake Dragon Boat Festival supports both the Ellen Osler Home and the Salvation Army. We ask teams to make donations by either bringing a non-perishable food item with them, or by donating new clothing and items for women. All donations can be dropped off at the registration booth on the day of the event. We thank you in advance for your donations!
Races are set to begin at approximately 8:00am; park gates will be open at 6:00am. Race head quarters will open at 7:00am for teams to complete any outstanding registration documents. Captain’s meeting to take place at 7:30am, marshalling for first race begins at 7:45am.
Race schedule will be posted one week prior to race date. Teams are asked to arrive no later than 1 hour prior to their first scheduled race.
Race Format: All teams will race three 200m races, plus the additional “fun races”: Flag Catching Race, Back It Down Race, and a Surprise Race. Each team has the option of racing in the 2km finale.
We will present 25 medals per team; should you require additional medals, you may purchase them at a cost of $10 each.
Awards will be handed out after the conclusion of each division final.
Are you interested in being a vendor at the Christie Lake Dragon Boat Festival? This year, we have a great opportunity for all vendors, whether new to our festival or returning clients!
Our goal for the 2019 festival is to greatly increase the festival experience for both our paddlers and our vendors. With over 30 teams anticipated to participate, this is a great opportunity to promote your products or company to hundreds of athletes and spectators of all ages.
2019 Vendor Package:
As an added benefit to your company, for an additional $25.00 your company can become a “Race Sponsor”. As a Race Sponsor, your logo will be high-lighted as the sponsor on our race schedule and your company will be announced as the sponsor of that individual race.
Vendors are permitted to set-up between the hours of 6:00am-7:00am, all vendors must be operational by 8:00am. Take-down can be done after 5:00pm or at the conclusion of the race day (whichever comes first). Due to the nature of the public space, it is recommended that vendors do not leave any merchandise or personal belongings in the park over-night.

Our mission is to continue the legacy that Jackie & Ramsay have begun, by providing our teams, vendors and communities with down-to-earth, positive, and honest communication, teamwork, and most of all fun, both before and during our festivals.
